At Glen Oaks Hospital, we are committed to providing exceptional outpatient programming to support our patients on their journey to recovery. Our individualized Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offer comprehensive care and a range of therapeutic activities to meet the unique needs of each patient.
Every patient in our program receives a personalized IOP/PHP treatment plan. Our dedicated treatment team staffs each patient weekly to ensure the highest quality of care and patient satisfaction. We believe in tailoring our approach to your specific needs, ensuring that you receive the best possible care.
For the well-being of our patients, all PHP and some IOP patients have access to our program psychiatrist extender 2-3 times weekly, as needed, for medication management. Your mental health is of utmost importance, and we are here to provide the necessary support.
We offer Therapeutic Equine Therapy two days a week for our PHP patients. Interacting with these majestic animals can be a transformative experience, enhancing your therapy journey and fostering emotional growth.
Our interactive weekly Substance Use Disorder therapy group, known as “Foundations,” provides a safe and supportive environment for individuals working towards recovery. Join us to connect with others and learn valuable coping skills.
Dr. Fernando Silas, MD, leads a weekly Musical Therapy experience, using his expertise to guide patients through a unique musical journey. This experience aids in self-discovery, insight, and achieving personal goals.
As part of our program schedule, we offer weekly Medication Education sessions to ensure that patients are informed about their treatment and medications. Knowledge is power on your path to recovery.
Meet Thor, our beloved service dog, and his handler, an Army veteran. They round on our patients weekly during group time, providing comfort, companionship, and emotional support to enhance the therapeutic environment.
We provide a hot and nutritious lunch daily for patients participating in our PHP. Our dedicated Dietitian is also available to address the nutritional needs of every patient, ensuring your overall well-being.
To make access to our program as convenient as possible, we offer daily no-cost transportation to and from the program for any IOP/PHP patient residing within a 30-mile radius. Your journey to recovery should be as stress-free as possible.
Our team offers active Case Management services and assists with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) for patients in our program. We are here to support you not only during your time in the program but also in planning for your future.
As a token of our appreciation for your commitment to your recovery, all patients who successfully complete either the IOP or PHP program at Glen Oaks Hospital will receive a graduation certificate to commemorate their achievement.
