They are available around the clock, ensuring you have the support you need whenever you need it.

Packing for Your Stay

We provide many of the items you’ll need during your stay, including toiletries, linens, blankets, and everyday essentials. You are welcome to bring comfortable clothing without drawstrings, laceless shoes, and books for your personal comfort.

However, we kindly ask you to leave behind items such as cigarettes, lighters, controlled substances, cell phones, electronic devices, outside food and drink, sharp jewelry, cords, keys, belts, wallets, and glass items. Our goal is to create a safe and secure environment for your healing journey.

A Structured and Supportive Environment

Your daily life at Glen Oaks Hospital will follow structured schedules designed to aid your recovery. This includes group therapy, balanced meals, therapeutic sessions, sleep hygiene, and dedicated outdoor time. We also offer supervised visitation on Thursdays, allowing you to have up to two visitors at a time, and access to phone calls throughout the day.

At Glen Oaks Hospital, we believe that inpatient psychiatric care provides a space for rest and recovery that may not be possible at home. It equips you with new coping skills and empowers your journey to well-being. Rest assured, our dedicated team is here to guide and support you every step of the way.
