I have no complaints at all, the staff understood where I was coming from and made me feel comfortable and loved. If I need help again I will come here. They helped me tremendously.
We offer inpatient hospitalization for adults and seniors who struggle with mental illness; addiction to drugs or alcohol or co-occurring disorders.
Adults age 18 and over who are living with addiction can receive treatment (medically supervised detox plus therapy for co-occurring disorders) through our New Freedom Dual Diagnosis Program.
For adults and seniors who do not require inpatient care or who need a step down from inpatient care, we offer Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs.
In order to facilitate comprehensive, therapeutic treatment for each of our patients, we offer a range of complementary programs.
At Glen Oaks Hospital, we offer treatment for adults and older adults who struggle with acute psychiatric issues, addiction to drugs or alcohol and co-occurring disorders (mental health issues with substance abuse). We also offer medical detoxification for those struggling with addiction. Symptoms that lead to treatment at our facility may include depression, anxiety or suicidal thoughts. Our goal is to restore each patient’s functioning at home and in the community, free of the symptoms that led to hospitalization. Treatment in all of our inpatient programs takes place within a secure, compassionate therapeutic environment.
We offer a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adults who do not require inpatient care or who need a step down from inpatient hospitalization. These programs allow patients to attend therapy sessions during the day or evening, while remaining a part of their home life and community. For our day treatment program, we also offer a boarding component for those who live too far away to commute or whose home environment is not conducive to recovery.
