Treatment at Glen Oaks Hospital

Welcome to Glen Oaks Hospital. If you, a loved one or a person in your care is experiencing a crisis, we’re here to help you find treatment that fits your needs. Our programs for adults and older adults are designed to help those who are living with mental illness, addiction issues or co-occurring disorders (psychiatric illness along with substance abuse issues).

Glen Oaks Hospital is committed to long-term resolution of behavioral health problems that will enhance each patient’s quality of life. We provide inpatient and outpatient programs for adults and seniors in a comfortable, secure therapeutic setting.

Our behavioral health services focus on:

  • Coping skills
  • Expression of feelings
  • Self-awareness skills
  • Relationship building
  • Interactive skills
  • Maintaining a secure environment
  • Reducing acute symptoms

Inpatient Programs

For adults struggling with mental illness or addiction to drugs or alcohol who would benefit from consistent care in a secure therapeutic environment, we offer Acute Psychiatric and Chemical Dependency treatment services.

Outpatient Programs

For adults who do not require inpatient care or who are stepping down from an inpatient level of care, Glen Oaks Hospital offers partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. This allows individuals to attend therapy sessions during the day or evening, as not to interrupt school, work or other obligations. For our day treatment program, we even offer a boarding component for patients who live too far away to commute or whose home environment is not conducive to recovery.
